In the NAZCA system, because of its high flexibility and the user freedom offered, undesirable situations can be created. The software has always included diagnostic mechanisms to help identify the causes of unexpected system behaviour, and a new one has now been added to diagnose the operation of the logic controller. The detectable scenarios include, for example, triggering of feedback loops or suboptimally constructed Freely Defined Nodes. In the hands of an informed user, it allows the system to be optimised and honed to a level that ensures adequate performance and high stability.
