Global archiver mechanism

alt

It is a whole new tool for quick transfer in NAZCA of data coming from sources, to tools for their archiving, without the need for system logic. Currently, the tool is being used for transferring data from the output node pins to the Kafka server.

To use Global archivers, it is necessary to configure the Kafka server in Topology. Now, the ability to specify multiple themes has been added, provided that they are separated by semicolons. The tool supports three mechanisms:

1. Sections
2. Event groups
3. Knowledge objects

Sections
Each section must have a name, addressee (Kafka server) and an interval (in milliseconds). The interval is the time gap after which data will be sent to the Kafka server.

If the Kafka server is inaccessible, all data is saved to .csv files and sent to the Kafka server once the connection is restored.

A limit of 10 sections has been set.

Modules
One or more modules can be added to each section. Modules are loaded from .iodd files which contain module information and the parameters of a particular module.

Parameters
Parameters loaded from the file can be linked to output pins appropriate to the parameter type. At a fixed interval, data from these pins will be sent to the Kafka server (only those parameters with a link to a pin will be sent).

Event groups
Each event group must have a name and addressee (Kafka server). Events can be loaded into each event group from the .iodd file, and then linked to output bool-type pins. The information will be sent to the Kafka server when the value on the linked pin changes.

Knowledge object
Each knowledge object must have a name and addressee (Kafka server). It is possible to add knowledge units to each knowledge object.

Knowledge units
A knowledge unit consists of a key, a name and a value. Each of these properties has a binding to an output pin.
