The upgrade resulted in a fully automated, Cartesian manipulator. Both the horizontal and the vertical stroke are executed automatically. The entire process is supervised by a SIEMENS S7-1200 controlled installed in an additional control cabinet with a monochromatic HMI 5.7” panel plus a light pole with status signaling functionality
Three modes are available after the upgrade: Automated, Manual and Servicing manual. Additionally, 3 programs were implemented: etching, chrome anodisation and phosphorous anodisation.
